Our organization contributes to members and the agricultural industry through natural resource policy and science work at county, state, and federal levels.

Fuel Exemption Payments

The Washington State Department of Licensing is partnering with you and your industry associations to provide financial assistance through our new Agriculture Support Program (ASP). Applications will be available starting the week of August 26. This letter is to make you aware of the program and help you prepare to apply. We will send you additional information prior to the start of the program. 

The Department of Licensing will begin issuing ASP payments in September 2024. The application will be available in the week of August 26, 2024. ***Don’t delay: Due to limited resources, applications will be processed in the order they arrive.

We are champions of agricultural opportunity in Western Washington. By cultivating a collaborative environment, we help agriculture flourish and community prosperity to rise.

  • Engage in internal and external (economic, environmental, regulatory) pressures on agriculture
  • Interact with county, state, and federal legislators and regulators
  • Pest and nutrient management control
  • Network with and support of the agricultural research community
  • Seek out and develop opportunities and technologies for agriculture

Our Membership

WWAA is the only organization in the western Washington region that serves all agricultural interests. Our organization primarily supports farmers and agriculture in western Washington. A majority of our current membership is located in Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom Counties. Our traditional membership population has also included Grays Harbor, Island, King, Lewis, Pierce, and San Juan Counties.
